After-School Program
Director: Tiqkia Barrow and Tashyra Gadson
All students are welcome to participate in the "I CAN" After-School Program. Daily participation is not required. Our mission is to empower students to discover their innate ability to succeed.
The program includes the following:
- Academic Support
- Recreational Activities
- Social Skills Development
- Internet Access
- Snack and drink are provided each day
Days of Operation
- Morning Care: Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
- After-School Care: Monday – Thursday: 4:10 p.m. – 5:40 p.m. (Note: The program does not meet on Fridays or school holidays.)
- Student Reporting Location: students report to the cafeteria before school and right after school
Registration
Please note: all parents must create an account and pay a one-time $35 registration fee. Paper registration is no longer available for our afterschool program this year.
Transportation
An activity bus is available for students who are regular bus riders, and live in the schools SAC zone. The bus departs campus at 5:40 p.m. Regular afternoon bus stops are NOT used, so please refer to the after-school bus schedule to locate a convenient stop. Parent pick-up is required by 5:40 p.m. Walkers and bike riders are also dismissed at this time.
